"It's Shopsmith For Precision" and "It's Shopsmith For Flexibility" 10er ads from 1951

Here are two ads from 1951 for the Magna "Shopsmith" 10er. I love the one on the right that shows the run-out of the spindle.

How Can You Go Wrong? 1953 Shopsmith 10er ad

How can you go wrong with Shopsmith? This ad shows the original 4" jointer, though this is not the first jointer sold for use on the Shopsmith tools. This version was made to hinge off the end of the machine whenever you needed to raise your 10er into the drill press mode. I'm glad that they worked this out before the into of the Mark V, but this is an inovative solution.

Shopsmith 10er ad from 1949. Only $199.50!
